January 2000 Newsletter
The 20th century has come and gone and we have ushered in a new year, a new century and a new millennium. Hopefully we will meet the challenges God will put before us. We are pleased to report that 1999 was another very successful year. Many souls were enriched and changed during summer camp. Thanks to all who contributed so much this past year. God has truly blessed our efforts. Keep up the good work. Annual Meeting ReportThe annual meeting of LPBC was held at the camp on October 2nd, 1999 in conjunction with the Fall Festival. A by-laws change to appoint additional alternate board members in the event the board membership falls below a certain number during the course of the year, was approved. Direct Deposit to LPBC A monthly tax-deductible donation to LPBC directly from your checking account is now available. All you need to do is CLICK HERE, print the page, fill out the form and send it to the Phelps County Bank at the address on the bottom of the form. You can donate $5, $10, or whatever you wish each month. All of the money will be used for the improvement of LPBC and it will cover the cost of your annual membership dues. We strongly encourage everyone who can to contribute in this way since it will give LPBC a fairly even flow of money for expenses throughout the year. Also, a little donated each month adds up to a sizeable amount in a year. Thanks. Fall Festival Report The fall festival was a huge success again this year. Many came out to enjoy a great evening of family fun and fellowship. We are pleased to report that $3120 was raised for LPBC. Thanks for helping.
