COVID-19 Response

The health and safety of all campers is important to us. We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will continue to make decisions based upon the most current information available to us.

Please be gracious to us as we navigate these uncharted waters.  The circumstances are new to all of us and we are prayerfully seeking Gods will in the decisions we make in moving forward with camp sessions for 2020.

The Little Prairie Bible Camp Board decided to cancel Day Camp, 1st Combo, Primary and Jr. High week sessions in June.  We have rescheduled Primary and Jr high weeks to late summer.  Senior week and 2nd Combo dates remain the same.  Please refer to calendar for updated listings of dates and camp sessions.

We will continue to reassess these in upcoming weeks.  We are taking a position of faith in moving forward with some camp sessions.  Our confidence is in God's control.

That being said, we will be considering all recommendations by the State as they change prior to each camp session.  We will determine one week prior to each session if it is reasonable to continue or cancel should State requirements warrant doing so. If you are planning to register your child please do so as early as possible. lt will be most helpful to have applications received one week prior to desired camp session.

COVID-19  Precautions:

We are implementing extra precautions as outlined below.

Temperatures of campers and staff will be taken at registration. We will do random temperature checks during each session.

A professional disinfectant labeled to kill Corona Virus will be used as a daily regimen by staff as instructed in all areas of camp used by campers.  Spray bottles will be located all over campus and used and supervised by LPBC staff.

Specific sites are the meal area, sleeping areas, play areas and bathrooms.

Cabin and Multi Purpose areas will be disinfected between sessions.

Policy Changes:

Check In:

Please, only one parent and no siblings allowed at camper registration/check in.

Parents will leave luggage and personal items at the multi at check in. Staff will transfer luggage and assist campers with getting their bunks set up. This will lower the number of guests on campus and limit exposure in the cabin areas.

During Camp:

Once campers are on campus, they will not be permitted to leave and come back.

We will implement extra cleaning during and between sessions.

Head-Toe sleeping arrangements to minimize face to face contact.

Our staff will have the authority to send campers home fi they exhibit any signs of illness.  Pro-rated refunds will be offered.

Frequent hand washing will be encouraged.

We are leaning on God during this difficult time and remembering that God's word instructs us in Philippians 4:6, "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

We ask for your prayers and thank you for being loyal supporters of the ministry of Little Prairie Bible Camp.  We treasure the way God changes lives through this ministry.
